worn during activities where there is a need for a garment with limited flame spread properties and where the user can be exposed to radiant or convective or contact heat or to molten metal splashes.
A. Burning behaviour
no puncture;
no flaming;
no debris;
after-flame time ≤ 2 s;
after-glow time ≤ 2 s.
B. Convective heat
Garments that claim to offer protection against convective heat must meet at least performance level B1 in the following table:
